As a Treasury Services Director, Peter is responsible for actively managing pooled client accounts for maximum returns. He is in charge of managing discretionary cash portfolios, the deposit brokerage service and foreign exchange products. Peter also advises and assists Client Service Directors in choosing the right banking products and services for their clients.

Peter started his career in the treasury back office prior to becoming a dealer in currency deposits and foreign exchange for Royal Trust Bank (Jersey). In 1987, he moved to ANZ Grindlays Bank (Jersey) Limited as a Senior Manager, Treasury, where his responsibilities included asset liability management for the bank's balance sheet, client and proprietary foreign exchange trading, off-balance sheet products including trading and hedging through financial futures and FRAs. In his 10 years with ANZ Grindlays, Peter became a member of the Global Private Bank Treasury Committee with responsibility for product development and management. He joined Abacus in 1997 as a treasury manager and has since been promoted to director of treasury services.
