Lindsey joined Abacus in April 2005 as a Director in the Corporate Services Division, based in our London office. Lindsey's role focuses primarily on corporate business development, including providing additional senior support for the continuing strong growth of the Group's extensive blue chip client base.
Lindsey brings experience from both advisory and corporate perspectives. An English solicitor, Lindsey graduated from Oxford University with a BA Hons in law in 1987 and practised in the share plan and pensions fields with Linklaters until 1996. Whilst at Linklaters, Lindsey completed a secondment to a leading US employee benefits practice in New York from 1994 to 1995.
Immediately before joining Abacus, she spent just over two years with BP as head of legal and communications for pensions, prior to which she was a Partner with Watson Wyatt, specialising in executive compensation, particularly share and cash incentive plans.
Lindsey is a main board Director of GEO (the Global Equity Organisation) and actively involved in promoting share ownership throughout the international community.
When not at work Lindsey enjoys football (supporting rather than playing!), tennis, reading, travel and wine.
