Michael is a Client Services Director based in Jersey.

After completing his studies, Michael worked as a financial markets dealer for four years before joining Coopers & Lybrand (PwC) in 1989 to head up their Private Wealth Management business in South Africa. He was appointed as a partner in 1991, with national responsibility for the business unit providing private wealth management services to high net worth clients of the firm.

Michael joined Abacus in Jersey in 1996, for a 3 year term, before returning to South Africa to take responsibility for the opening and the operation of Abacus offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town. In 2004, Michael returned to Jersey.

Michael retains a significant Southern African client base, having developed a thorough understanding of the personal and regulatory issues these clients face.

Michael is a regular presenter at conferences, and has presented on subjects relating to Financial Education and Team Dynamics on both sides of the Atlantic.

Having run over 80 marathons, Michael is also a keen cyclist, and when time allows enjoys playing golf.
